Moits was engaged by Frasers Property Group to complete the Bulk Earthworks and Civil packages for their large scale town centre development in Edmondson Park.

Utilising Moits owned and operated excavation fleet, we completed both the bulk excavation, detailed excavation and haulage of excess material.

There was a substantial volume of asbestos remediation works and diversion of existing sewer services that was challenged by the fact that the land had previously been occupied by a Department of Defence army training camp.

Moits were required to perform substantial field validation surveys prior to and whilst excavation was taking place as well as provision of the relevant clearance certificate once the earthworks scope was finalised.

The land was also occupied by wild animals that we were required to humanely relocate as part of our works package.

Once the early works scope reached completion, Moits began construction of both Bernera and Greenway Road.

On what had previously been greenfield land, we then established two completely new internal access roads including the asphalting, kerb & gutter, linemarking, median strips and respective landscaping.

This project was successfully completed for Frasers within budget and on time.
