The Project.

The Capital Corporation Bondi Pty Ltd entrusted Moits with the execution of the Early Works Package for their project at 1–9 Gray Street, Bondi Junction. This ambitious development included preservation of the existing heritage façade as well as the construction of a cutting-edge 10-storey building complete with a three-level basement car park. The ground floor of the new structure was designated for Club Bondi Junction RSL along with retail and commercial spaces and a loading dock. Elevating the project further, the upper levels would feature 78 contemporary residential apartments.

Challenges & Our Approach.

Design and preservation of the existing listed heritage façade required expert design, planning and execution from the Moits team.

Coupled with the heritage nature of the site and the adjacent live road and busy footpath within the Bondi Junction area, emphasis was placed on noise, vibration and dust controls during delivery.

Working closely with consultants and designers, Moits successfully executed all demolition works prior to the commencement of bulk excavation.
