DESCRIPTION: This project involved on-site screening, remediation and removal of contaminated soils, with a total of 64,000m3 of bulk excavation at a peak performance of 170 truck loads per day. Temporary works included de-watering, new site access road, and careful vibration monitoring adjacent to Sydney Trains railway line. The temporary buttresses built along the railway line by others (to avoid the use of anchors) were removed by Moits, along with providing the basement detailed excavation services.
