JUNIOR FABRICATOR / MECHANIC

Location: Sydney Hills District

The Role: MOITS Racing is a leading automotive race team based in the Sydney Hills District. We currently campaign three promod type vehicles throughout different classes within the drag racing industry.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic & reliable person to fill a fulltime position within our racing headquarters as a Junior Fabricator/Mechanic. Regular interstate travel will be required, which will be paid for by the company.

Job tasks & Responsibilities:
• General servicing of road registered modified vehicles
• Design and Fabrication of automotive components
• Working within a race team and track environment
• Maintain and clean workshop, tools and ground equipment
• Set up and preparation before and during race meetings

Skills & Experience:
• A demonstrated ability to perform automotive and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic
• Flexibility with working hours
• Fabrication experience an advantage
• Be able to follow direction
• Proficient in the use of hand & power tools

GRADER OPERATORS

Location: Sydney Metropolitan Area

The Role: We are seeking grader operators who are motivated, professional and reliable operators with a view to long term employment to work across our various job sites located in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

You will be operating 30 tonne plus machines that are Komatsu branded.

Key Requirements:
• Must hold a valid White Card, current driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Have operated a minimum of 30 tonne previously
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as grader operator or in a similar role in the civil construction industry
• Have the ability to use GPS

TRAFFIC SERVICES MANAGER

Location: Macquarie Park NSW 2113

The Role: We are seeking a professional and well organised Traffic Services Manager to join our team, based at our head office in Macquarie Park. As a key liaison between the business and our clients, the role is accountable for the overall management and co-ordination of our traffic services business as well as the development of new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers.

This busy role is ideally suited to someone with solid leadership, communication and organisational skills. Your determination to drive your team forward and work effectively with key internal and external stakeholders will be essential to your success in the role.

Key responsibilities of the role are:
• Research and develop business opportunities with both existing clients and new prospective customers
• Timely and efficient allocation of traffic personnel and equipment to meet project requirements
• Development and implementation of traffic management plans and procedures across all job sites
• Lead the team to ensure all staff are working effectively and efficiently
• Demonstrate a high focus on work health and safety, including the investigation of incidents and initiation of corrective actions
• Undertake programming, planning and scheduling of various works
• Invoicing clients and raising purchase orders
• Ordering traffic equipment as required
• Meeting and liaising with clientele to grow and develop the business

Key Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in creating and implementing Traffic Management Plans
• Must possess the following tickets:
– RIIWHS302D Implement a traffic management plan
– RIIWHS205D Traffic Controller
– RIICWD503D Prepare work zone traffic management plans
– White Card
• Highly proficient in the use of Rapid Plan
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

FIELD SERVICES MECHANIC

Location: South Windsor NSW 2756

The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Services Mechanic to join our team. The role is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our Komatsu and Caterpillar branded earth moving equipment and trucks. You will be required to travel across all sites located within the Sydney Metropolitan Area, as your primary role will be field service. In the event that there are no field service jobs required for the day, you will be required to work in our workshop, located in South Windsor.

• Must be a qualified mechanic with a strong knowledge of mechanical principles

TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

Location: Sydney Metropolitan Area

The Role: We are looking to hire casual traffic controllers to work across our various job sites located in the Sydney Metro area. SITE SUPERVISOR

Location: Sydney Metropolitan

The Role: We are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team. The role will see you accountable for the management and supervision of a range of demolition, excavation and construction projects within the civil earthworks industry, to ensure their construction in accordance to relevant standards and legislative requirements, and delivery on time and budget. Acting as a point of contact between site personnel and office-based project teams, the role would be well suited to someone with strong people management, communication and organisational skills.

Key Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ industry experience preferred
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work at a fast pace, both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound time management and organisational skills
• Excellent conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Managing direct employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and other site personnel, and ensuring their correct utilisation to achieve timely completion of projects
• Working in tandem with the Project Manager to plan and implement schedules to ensure site labour, plant and equipment is managed efficiently
• Monitoring work against specifications to ensure the continuing quality and accuracy of work performed
• Ensuring the site is managed in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury or property damage
• Identifying and recording all contract variations, and ensuring the Project Manager/ Construction Manager is promptly notified
• Developing and maintaining superior client and stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, local authorities and consultants
