Excavator operators are required to work on our projects such as demolition, civil, construction and remediation. You will be operating machines from 1.5T to 65T. The majority of our machines are Komatsu.

Key Requirements:
• Excavator licence
• Demolition and bulk excavation experience
• Final trim experience
• White Card
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Own transport preferable
• Saw cutting experience preferable

SITE OPERATORS

Location: Sydney Metropolitan

The Role: We are seeking experienced operators to work across our various job sites located in the Sydney Metro area. You will be operating machines from 1.5T to 65T, and the majority of our machines are Komatsu branded. We are looking for operators that have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role in the civil construction industry.

SITE SUPERVISOR

Location: Sydney Metropolitan

The Role: We are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team. The role will see you accountable for the management and supervision of a range of demolition, excavation and construction projects within the civil earthworks industry, to ensure their construction in accordance to relevant standards and legislative requirements, and delivery on time and budget. Acting as a point of contact between site personnel and office-based project teams, the role would be well suited to someone with strong people management, communication and organisational skills.

Key Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ industry experience preferred
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work at a fast pace, both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound time management and organisational skills
• Excellent conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Managing direct employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and other site personnel, and ensuring their correct utilisation to achieve timely completion of projects
• Working in tandem with the Project Manager to plan and implement schedules to ensure site labour, plant and equipment is managed efficiently
• Monitoring work against specifications to ensure the continuing quality and accuracy of work performed
• Ensuring the site is managed in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury or property damage
• Identifying and recording all contract variations, and ensuring the Project Manager/ Construction Manager is promptly notified
• Developing and maintaining superior client and stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, local authorities and consultants

TRAFFIC CONTROL MANAGER

Location: Sydney Metropolitan

The Role: We are seeking to appoint a professional and well organised Traffic Control Manager to join our team, based at our head office in Macquarie Park. The role will see you accountable for the overall management and co-ordination of our traffic control division, and would be well suited to someone with strong people management, communication and organisational skills. Your enthusiasm and determination to drive your team forward and communicate at all levels within the organisation will be essential to your success in the role.

Key Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in creating and implementing Traffic Management Plans
• Must hold the following tickets:
– RIIWHS302D Implement a traffic management plan
– RIIWHS205D Traffic Controller
– RIICWD503D Prepare work zone traffic management plans
– White Card
• Highly proficient in the use of Rapid Plan
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to think laterally
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and direct team members

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Liaising and coordinating with clients and project teams to determine personnel requirements for sites and allocating traffic controllers accordingly
• Developing traffic management plans and procedures and ensuring their correct implementation across all job sites
• Leading and mentoring the traffic control team to ensure all team members are working together efficiently and have the opportunity to develop their knowledge base
• Collaborating with the WHSEQ Manager to ensure the implementation of safe work practices
• Investigating incidents and initiating corrective actions
• Communicating with clients and project teams regularly to ensure traffic management expectations are being met
• Undertaking programming, planning and scheduling of various works
• Invoicing clients and raising purchase orders
• Ordering traffic equipment as required
• Meeting and liaising with clientele to grow and develop the business
